Seasons’s Pendants

Polymer Play Works has a whole new approach on the seasons & holidays.  Polymer Play Works is creating pendants for the seasons and holidays.  Polymer Play Works has already started with pumpkins and mummy faces for the fall and for Harvest Fest 2009 on Upper Union Street.  Pumpkins are great for pie, and Thanksgiving as well.   For the winter and for a traditional Christmas Polymer Play Works is making medium sized snowman pendants.  I’m thinking for the spring,  I’ll make strawberry pendants for Strawberry Fest on Upper Union Street.   For the summer, I’ll make a tropical flower.  ALL pendants will be made with polymer clay and liquid polymer clay.  I will have a 16′ black cord to go with the pendant as well.  ALL pendants will be sold at Polymer Play Works’s webpage, Sows Ear Studio, ebay, & etsy.  Pendants will be $4.50 each.  Great for yourself or for a friend.  Pendants will be shipped around the world and in the United States.  It costs $5.25 to ship a pendant.  I will also be selling the seasons pendant kits on ebay for $4.50 as well.  It will be shipped to you with a 16′ black cord, silver clasp,  silver jump ring, and a medium sized pendant.  These types of pendants will be taught in my workshops as well.  Workshops will be starting in January of 2010.  If you’re interested in a workshop, stop by Sows Ear Studio or stop by Polymer Play Works. 

Fired Up

Polymer Play Works is proud to announce that it’s having a whole collection of fired clay pieces.  Clays include precious metal clay & pottery clay.  Polymer Play Works goal is to reach out to people who have never experienced polymer clay, precious metal clay, and pottery clay.  Polymer Play Works will be selling pendants, wearable art, mugs, plates, bowls, vases, and much more.  I’ve had a kiln for three years, and have only used it once.  I started off with precious metal clay because of it’s versaitility and mom and I have a good friend that’s been working with it for years.  I’ve always been inspired by handcrafted pottery and it’s possibilities as well.  I love handcrafted items for the kitchen and the home.  So I’ve decided to incoporate all of these things that I love to do into one.  Colorful, comfortable, useful, helpful, & handcrafted.  I’ve known about precious metal clay, but didn’t know much about hand-built pottery.  I’m looking forward to creating with all three of these clays that have endless possibilites.  My goal is to eventually create an online catalog with all of my clays incorporated with my works.  Keep your eyes open for my online catalog.  Have fun and enjoy new and exciting fired up clays with Polymer Play Works.

Pumpkin Patch & Fun Mummy Faces For Harvest Fest 2009

Haloween, with the help from Polymer Play Works will be fun this year.  I gave a bead demonstration today on the front porch at Sow’s Ear Studio today.  Kids and adults got to choose from a pumkin that came fresh out of my polymer clay patch, or a mummy that came from Egypt(Egypt is my polymer clay table at home).  Adults and kids were very interested in my workshops, so I got a lot of signatures in my guest book for workshops.  Kids and adults liked the little pieces that I had a examples of what I’m going to teach.  Harvest Fest was absolutly fun without a dought today.  It was a little bit overcast and cloudy, but it didn’t rain at all. Pumpkins looked like little pieces of pumkin candies.  Mummies were dazzling and sparkling with delight.  Pumpkins had small silver bails on the top, and mummy faces had different colored jump rings.  Black cord was sixteen in a 1/2 inches long.  So that way children and adults could wear a pendant.  Fun pumkins and mummies for haloween, winter and christmas will be even more fun.    Due to caos with our first gallery opening, my workshops got pushed until the first week in November.  Sorry for the inconvience.

New And Exciting

New, exciting, and good things are happening at Polymer Play Works.  1st thing is Polymer Play Works has a new thing called; Polymer Play Works Productions.  I will be creating dvd’s of  how to make polymer clay and jewelry and creating my own texture sheets, as well as push molds.  Be able to purchase my line of products on my website and my ebay store.  Prices of my items will range in price and you can pay with PayPal.   I except all major credit and debit cards.  No checks or money orders please.  Dvds’s, polymer clay, texture sheets, and push molds are shipped in the United States and around the world.  Have some fun with polymer clay and it’s possibilites.

Fall Preparation
